Donald B. Schwall, Jr., Chief Commercial Officer

Don Schwall is a seasoned executive with over three decades of experience in investment, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 1991. While still a student, Don gained early exposure to the financial world as an intern at E.F. Hutton. After graduating, he joined PaineWebber as a trading and trust specialist, achieving the highest return on assets in 1998—a testament to his strategic foresight and expertise.

In 1999, Don moved to San Francisco to participate in the burgeoning .com boom, serving as Division COO for Cosmoz.com. Under his leadership, the company achieved a nine-figure market capitalization before he successfully exited in 2001. Following this, Don co-founded eMerge Solutions, an investor and public relations firm with a global client base. As the firm expanded, Don’s division evolved to offer comprehensive corporate development services, including valuations, data room management, M&A, and business development.

Recognizing a growing demand for tailored M&A and corporate restructuring solutions, Don founded Completion Capital in 2010. His expertise in buy- and sell-side negotiations led to high-profile restructuring and commercialization projects in the automotive and defense sectors. Notably, he co-managed the takeover and sale of a Germany-based lithium-ion battery manufacturer, collaborating with leading organizations such as VW, Porsche, BMW, NASA, and Lockheed Martin. Don also directed a Taiwan-based corporate supply chain restructuring project working directly with top 10 global automotive manufacturers including top producers Ford, GM, CAMI, and Toyota, resulting in substantial valuation growth, new revenue streams, reduced costs, and a successful acquisition offer from a U.S. public company.

In 2018, Don shifted his focus to M&A in the healthcare sector, closing nine-figures in transactions within three years. His work expanded into biopharma and medical devices, leveraging his extensive expertise in corporate strategy. In 2021, Don’s firm Mindful M&A was engaged by NTK Enterprises, Inc. to lead its merger with VIS, LLC (now VIS, Inc.). Don played a pivotal role in structuring the merger and has since been integral to VIS, Inc., serving as Secretary and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). In this capacity, he oversees corporate development, contract manufacturing, global regulatory, strategic relationships, and investor relations, while driving the company’s growth and innovation in the medical device industry.
