Hyperopia Procedure

Hyperopia, commonly known as farsightedness, is a vision condition where distant objects are seen more clearly than close ones. It occurs when the shape of the eye causes light rays to focus behind the retina instead of directly on it. Hyperopia affects approximately 1.94 billion individuals globally.

Opti-K® is a patented Laser Vision Correction (LVC) device and procedure that corrects presbyopia. It is non-invasive, painless, repeatable and requires no operating room or continued post-operative pharmaceuticals. There is no damage to the epithelium, no aberrations, and no cutting, ever! Results are immediate with no downtime.

Currently available as a fee for service procedure in Toronto under an approved Health Canada Medical Device License (MDL).

At VIS, we understand that sight is one of our most precious senses—the one people fear losing the most. Our mission is to commercialize and scale proprietary laser-based optical systems, empowering ophthalmologists to provide safe, fast, and affordable treatments that deliver exceptional results.
